Target audience: QA, developers, Cyber researchers and IT personal
Prerequisites: Basic understanding of computer networking
Course type: Theoretical lectures combined with hands-on experience via live simulations
This Networking Fundamentals course offers theory and hands-on training in network analysis and troubleshooting. The core is to understand the flow of traffic inside a network by using tools such as Wireshark to capture and analyze live traffic. We will cover various analysis techniques to spot the most common network problems, will get familiar with statistical tools such as Wireshark to analyze traffic in real time. By the end of the course the participant will be able to recognize the OSI model layers, components and functions of each layer, recognize network elements such as router, switch and firewall, and the will gain the ability to identify common network attacks
